High-density ceramic fibre boards are used as the thermal insulation material, with a density of 400 kg/m³, which is significantly higher than the low-density refractory insulation materials used by other manufacturers. The design allows for sufficient power density to ensure rapid, instantaneous heating of the system, enabling the galvanising plant to operate continuously, saving time and thereby increasing galvanising capacity.
Steel structure components of the galvanising furnace: The steel structure of the galvanising furnace comprises the furnace shell, ceramic fibre modules, furnace chamber cover plate assembly and other refractory materials.
Galvanising furnace shell: This comprises the furnace end plates, side panels and base angle sections. We employ a modular design, which simplifies installation, improves efficiency and saves time.
Ceramic fibre modules: These comprise ceramic fibre modules and ceramic fibre blankets for the furnace shell end plates and side plates. High-temperature-resistant ceramic fibre modules rated to 1,260°C are used and are pre-assembled with the furnace shell prior to dispatch to facilitate installation. The ultra-low thermal conductivity of the ceramic fibre modules ensures that heat within the furnace chamber is retained.
Furnace Chamber Cover Assembly: This comprises support plates made of heat-resistant alloy steel, an upper cover plate made of carbon steel, and 1260-type ceramic fibre modules. The ceramic fibre blanket support plates and ceramic fibre modules are used to prevent heat loss from the top of the flue, whilst the upper cover plate serves to protect the ceramic fibre blanket from damage.

Heat-Resistant Alloy Steel Support Rods: These are made of heat-resistant alloy steel. These are used to support the zinc pot, preventing uneven deformation caused by high temperatures.
Refractory materials: These include ceramic fibre blankets, L-shaped refractory boards and refractory mortar. The refractory mortar and ceramic fibre blankets are used to protect the base of the galvanising furnace, whilst the L-shaped refractory boards are laid around the base of the zinc pot to prevent the zinc slag from causing excessive temperatures at the pot’s base.
The furnace body features an all-refractory fibre structure, providing excellent thermal insulation properties; the electrically heated furnace utilises easily removable gate-type resistance heating plates; direct-mount electric heating wire (strip) technology is employed to enhance the radiation coefficient of the heating elements, resulting in high thermal efficiency, a long service life for the heating elements, and ease of installation and maintenance.
