Products Description
1. Refractory of high alumina brick:
The fire resistance of high alumina brick is higher than that of clay brick, reaching 1750~1790℃.
2. Load softening temperature of high alumina brick:
The softening temperature under load is higher than that of clay brick because of high Al2O3 content, low impurity content and less fusible glass body, but the softening temperature under load is still not as high as that of silicon brick because mullite crystal does not form a network structure.
3. Slag resistance of high alumina brick:
High alumina brick is a refractory brick with high aluminum content, which is close to neutral refractory and can resist the corrosion of acid slag and alkaline slag.
4. The use of high alumina brick:
It is mainly used for lining of blast furnace, hot blast stove, electric furnace top, blast furnace, reverberatory furnace and rotary kiln. In addition, high-alumina bricks are also widely used as open-hearth regenerative checker bricks, plug heads for gating systems, nozzle bricks, etc.
5. High alumina brick grade:
The grade of high-alumina brick depends on its own alumina content. Al2O3>75% is “super grade” (this is the name of the agreed promotion, non-limiting word), 70% ~ 75% is Grade I, 60 ~ 70% is Grade II, 50 ~ 60% is Grade III, and 45 ~ 55% is Grade IV.
