Products Description
Carbon brick is a kind of neutral refractory product with high temperature resistance, which is made of carbonaceous materials and a proper amount of binder. Carbonaceous materials include anthracite, coke and graphite, with asphalt, tar and anthracene oil as binders. The carbon brick is dark gray and shiny, and the well-fired carbon brick does not stain the hands, and it makes a crisp sound when it is knocked.
Characteristics of carbon brick:
High fire resistance, high load softening temperature, good thermal shock resistance, good slag resistance, no corrosion from acid, alkali, salt and organic drugs, stable volume at high temperature, high mechanical strength, good wear resistance, and good electrical and thermal conductivity.
Application fields of carbon brick:
Widely used in iron and steel industry, laying blast furnace bottom, hearth, belly and lower part of furnace shaft, etc. It can also be used in electrochemical industry, chemical industry, petrochemical industry, electroplating industry, furnace (equipment) of ferroalloy industry, tank lining and pipeline of acid liquor and alkali liquor, and furnace lining for smelting nonferrous metals (such as aluminum, lead and tin).
